Abstract: Atarek Kamil Ibrahim & Co Chartered Accountants (hereafter referred to as ‘AKI’) will no longer be active by the end of 2009. ASNAF (M) Chartered Accountants will become the new AKI. All those efforts since year 2000 are starting to take effect. For his staff, his long time friends, for the sceptics and for himself, the outcome of this new venture is going to prove whether Tuan Haji Atarek Kamil Bin Dato' Ibrahim (hereafter referred to as ‘Atarek’), the initial promoter of AKI can materialize his vision. "Am I the man who only has vision but cannot operationalise that vision?" That question went on and on in his mind. Even though the deadline is drawing closer, it is not too late to reverse that decision. He has to critically evaluate his current and past positions before making that definitive decision to rebrand AKI into ASNAF.
